My mom has made these for Santa for a long time. She calls them buttery, sugary, mildly nutty awesomeness

Sarah's Russian Teacakes
Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 10-12 minutes
Total Time: 20-22 minutes
Recipe:
1 cup
softened margarine / butter
1/2 cup
powder sugar
1 tsp.
vanilla
2 1/4 cup
all purpose flour
3/4 cup
nicely chopped nuts
1/4 tsp.
salt
1/4 tsp.
powder sugar
Directions: heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix margarine, 1/2 cup powder sugar and the vanilla. Stir in flour, nuts, and salt until dough holds together. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place about 1 inch apart on un-greased cookie sheet. Bake until set but not brown (10-12 minutes). Roll in powder sugar while warm; cool. Roll in powder sugar again.
* DO NOT USE SELF RISING FLOUR IN THIS RECIPE!
