4 cups of sliced peaches 2 cups sugar divided 1/2 cup water 8 tablespoons butter 1 1/2 cups self rising flour 1 1/2 cup of milk ground cinnamon
Directions:
Preheat over 350 degrees F
combine the peaches, 1 cup water in a saucepan and stir well
bring a boil and simmer for 10 minutes
remove from heat do not stir
spoon fruit on top gently pouring in syrup
sprinkle top with ground cinnamon
batter will rise to during baking
leave in oven for 30-40 minutes
It was a cold Thanksgiving when i had my first peach cobble, once i saw it i couldn't get my eyes off of it. When it was time to say grace. I had already start eating. The peaches was so juicy and sweet. my heat was pounding when my mom said "just a few more minutes for the other." i had a big smile on my face, which was stuffed with peaches.
